Welcome to another cozy summer day in Poland. ?
Today we're spending a peaceful day together, starting with a relaxing walk through the charming streets of my city. We'll browse beautiful home décor, garden decorations, and kitchen finds before picking up a few simple ingredients for a special homemade dessert.
Back at home, I'll plant fresh dill and parsley on my windowsill, then bake one of my favorite cakes — the famous Milk Girl Cake. While the cake rests overnight, a rainy summer morning arrives. Before the rain begins, I head out to buy fresh strawberries, raspberries, and flowers that I'll dry as everlasting blooms.
Together we'll prepare strawberries and raspberries for drying to enjoy homemade fruit tea during the colder months, decorate the cake with fresh berries, and end the day with a warm cup of tea, homemade cake, and the peaceful sound of summer rain.

“Milk Girl” Cake
For the batter:
370 g sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs
160 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
For the cream:
400 ml heavy cream
250 g mascarpone
70 g powdered sugar
Bake at 200 °C (390 °F) for 15–20 minutes.
