I stayed at Halekulani, one of Hawaii's most prestigious hotels in Waikiki. The name means "House Befitting Heaven." It's Waikiki Beach's premier luxury resort, where almost all of the 453 rooms have ocean views.
Its signature feature is the "Orchid Pool," created from 1.2 million tiles. From the open-air pool complex leading to the sea, to the uncrowded private beach, to Friday night fireworks, I'll share a truly heavenly stay.
