Rural Family Life ? Oksana Preserves Vegetables, Cooks Solyanka & Stuffed Spaghetti ?

? High in a Carpathian village by the river, Vasyl and Oksana live a simple family life with their three children.
? In this video, Oksana preserves cucumbers, tomatoes and vegetables for winter, cooks homemade solyanka over the fire, and prepares spaghetti stuffed with minced meat for a big family dinner.
Today is a very busy day for the whole family. Vasyl is still using a wheelchair while recovering, but with little Vladyslav’s help he cleans the concrete yard and bridge with a pressure washer and applies a special concrete hardener to protect their home.
? Meanwhile, Oksana and little Veronika harvest fresh vegetables from their own garden. Together they prepare colorful 3-liter jars of vegetables for winter, make homemade marinade, sterilize the jars outdoors over the fire, and braid freshly harvested onions to hang and dry in the shed.
? The children also create plenty of funny moments! While Vasyl relaxes in his wheelchair with his cap over his eyes, little Yaroslav suddenly starts pushing him down the sloping concrete path. Vasyl manages to stop just in time — and the whole family bursts into laughter!
? Later, Oksana prepares a huge outdoor family dinner. She cooks rich homemade solyanka in a cast-iron pot over the fire using large meat bones, and also makes pasta wrapped in seasoned minced meat in a frying pan. Another unexpected moment happens when water is added to the hot pan and flames suddenly rise!
? Finally, everything is ready. The table is filled with jars of preserved vegetables, homemade solyanka and delicious pasta with meat. Vasyl, Oksana and the children sit together and enjoy another warm summer evening in the Carpathian Mountains.
