Stack and Dome started in London’s Camden Market in 2022 and this year they brought the concept over to Dubai.
For their double smash, they hand-press one patty to just the right thickness, keeping it small but thick and juicy. The second patty is spread as far and wide as possible, creating a gigantic, paper-thin crispy layer.
They then stack the two with two slices of cheese, placing the thicker patty on top. The potato bun is brushed generously with butter, toasted, then spread with their house sauce before they close the whole thing inside a steel dome, allowing the bun to steam and become incredibly soft.
The thicker patty gives you that juicy, meaty bite, while the thin smashed layer brings the crispy edges and crunch.
