Carpathian Family Life ? Oksana Makes Apple Juice & Preserves for Winter

High in a Carpathian village by the river, Vasyl and Oksana live a simple rural life with their three children — Vladyslav, Veronichka, and little Yaroslav. ??️
Today the whole family has plenty of work to do. Vasyl heads to their bridge over the river to give it a fresh coat of paint, while Oksana and the children gather baskets full of apples from their trees. ?? This year the apple harvest is especially rich!
With little Veronichka happily helping her mother, Oksana presses the fresh apples into homemade juice. She lights an outdoor fire, heats the juice, sterilizes the jars, and preserves a large supply of natural apple juice for winter. ???
The next morning begins with rain. ?️ While it pours outside, Oksana takes care of their cozy village home — washing the windows, changing the curtains, ironing clean tulle, and making the house fresh and beautiful again. ?✨
When the rain finally stops, she returns to the outdoor kitchen. This time Oksana prepares a delicious homemade vegetable salad for winter with eggplants, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, and other fresh vegetables. ????️ Everything is slowly cooked over the fire, seasoned with love, and preserved in jars.
And while the fire is still burning, Oksana cooks a simple meatless family meal — fried potatoes with eggplant and peppers in a pan outdoors. ???
At the end of the day, the whole family gathers around the table to enjoy the homemade food together. ❤️
