Pizza Bun in Chennai | Sowcarpet Trilogy Part 3
After the Khakhra Sandwich and Cheese Bhujiya Puff,
the owner asked - "Ever had Pizza Bun?"
Cut a big bun in half. Green chutney on both sides.
Shredded cheese on one side. Then a mix of tomato ketchup, onion, tomato, capsicum.
Closed it and into the microwave.
He overcooked it a bit but that karr karr sound was satisfying.
Can you call it Pizza? No. But as a crispy stuffed bun? Decent.
Out of the 3 experiments, this one was my least favorite.
But the biggest respect goes to the owner.
Even though I wasn't a regular customer, he let me film everything and share the recipes.
That's rare. Big thanks to him.
Khakhra → Puff → Bun. Day 12 didn't end here.
