The Bazaar in China-Kazakhstan Border Swan Town: Traditional Food & Daily Life

Welcome to our journey along the China-Kazakhstan border!
Today, we visit the serene Swan Town, located just a few dozen kilometers from the Kazakh border.
Thanks to thermal hot springs, the local lake stays warm and ice-free even in the dead of winter. Every year between late October and November, beautiful mute swans fly in all the way from Lake Balkhash in Kazakhstan and other regions to spend the winter here, remaining until about April before heading home.
After admiring these winter visitors, we head straight into the heart of town to explore the bustling border bazaar! Join us as we dive headfirst into the vibrant colors, rich traditions, and unforgettable flavors of Xinjiang street food culture:
