Autumn has arrived, and Shiva is worried about a warm shelter for her children. She starts digging early in the morning, and her hands blister from the hard work. While she's resting for a moment, the camera operator arrives — he has bought liver for Barfi (the dog). Shiva cooks it and feeds it to him.
Shiva and the operator work together again, digging the ground. This time, Shiva decides to build a small house for Barfi. She finishes the walls, and the operator promises to bring the materials needed to complete it. Shiva then goes back to her daily work and cooking.
This video is an intimate story of a mother's effort to prepare her home before the winter cold sets in.
