✰ 4 low carb burger buns (I used Sara Lee)
✰ 16 oz (454g) ground chicken breast - seasoning: 2 tsp (6g) onion powder, 2 tsp (6g) garlic powder, 2 tsp (6g) paprika, salt and pepper and optional cayenne for spicy)
✰ 1 egg
✰ hot sauce or siracha to taste
✰ 30g cornflakes (this is about how much the sticks absorb - I recommend crushing extra so it’s easier to coat)
✰ lettuce
✰ sauce: 1/2 cup (113g) greek yogurt (or light mayo), 3 tsp (9g) garlic powder, 1 tsp (3g) mustard powder, 3 tsp (2g) black pepper
Tips
Directions
1. Preheat air fryer to 400F (or oven to 450)
2. Combine chicken with egg, siracha and seasoning and form into 4 burger shapes.
3. Crush corn flakes and coat patties.
4. Air fry for ~15 min (or bake in oven for 20 min) or until Internal temp is 165F
5. Mix sauce and assemble burger.
6. Enjoy!
Tips for this recipe:
♡ Air fry/bake fries while preparing chicken patty.
♡ You can swap low carb burger bun with regular.
♡ Blend cornflakes to get finer coating or crush by hand to get bigger pieces.
♡ Use ground turkey if you can’t find chicken.
♡ The egg helps keep it together but you can leave it out.
