How to Make a Korean-Style Corn Dog

  • This Korean-style corn dog made with Omaha Steaks Gourmet Jumbo Franks is the best summer snack!
    How to Make Korean Corn Dogs
    Prep Time: 15 minutes
    Cook Time: 5 minutes
    Ingredients:
    2 – 3 oz. Omaha Steaks Gourmet Jumbo Franks, halved
    4 long cubes cheddar cheese (same shape as franks)
    1 large egg
    2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    ¾ cup whole milk
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    Crushed corn flakes, for rolling
    Sugar, for dusting
    Oil, for frying
    Ketchup, mustard, mayo & hot sauce, for serving
    Directions:
    1. Skewer hot dog and cheddar cheese onto wood skewer, to create 4 corn dogs.
    2. In a small mixing bowl whisk together eggs, sugar, milk, flour, baking powder & salt until batter comes together.
    3. Transfer to a tall skinny glass for dipping. Dip each skewer into the batter & roll in crushed cornflakes.
    4. Fry at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes, until golden and heated throughout.
    5. Dust with granulated sugar. Serve with your favorite sauce!
