Cookbook in bio for all my recipes - 20% off ✅ I forgot to input the cheese before I recorded so the macros are actually: 62g protein 23g fat 43g carbs Vs McDonald’s 25g protein 34g fat 45g carbs (yikes) Ingredients: this makes 1 burger - double it for two and so on 1/2 lb 96/4 ground beef (Seasonings: 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, garlic powder) 1 slice reduced fat mild cheddar (brand: good & gather) Lettuce Tomato Onion Pickles Sauce: 50g greek yogurt 30g light mayo (brand: best foods) 15g zero sugar ketchup 10g mustard 10g sweet relish 1g garlic powder 1g onion powder 1g paprika 1/2 tsp white vinegar 3g honey Salt to taste Instructions: bring a cast iron pan (or whatever you have) to med/high heat. Sauté your onions and group them into 2 small piles. Season and role up your 1/2 lb ground beef into 2 equal sized balls and place them on the onion piles. Smash them down and let each side cook for 2 mins give or take. Place the cheese on top with 30 seconds to go and your patties are done. Next, turn off the heat and use that pan to toast your buns - brown them to your liking. Meanwhile, mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and chop your veggies. Now build your burger & you just saved yourself from whatever McDonalds is serving. Enjoy!
