I did not expect fried bread + cream to taste this good! ??

I saw the viral Japanese fried cream sando all over my feed recently. And so with no plans to travel to Tokyo ?? , I decided to recreate it at home, not knowing that the contrast of crispy fried bread and airy sweet cream would floor me. ISSOGOOD!! ??
Anyway, this also reminds me of that nostalgic Malaysian streetside ice cream sandwich, which maybe I should try recreating too… ? 
Here's what you'll need to make this:

250ml (1 cup) cream
12g (1 tbsp) icing sugar, sifted
2ml (½ tsp) vanilla extract
one pinch of salt
4 thick slices of milk bread
3g (1tsp) cocoa powder, to garnish (optional)
