The St. Paul Sandwich originates from St. Louis Missouri during the 1980s when an enterprising Chinese restaurant chef put an egg foo young patty between two slices of bread and came up with a whole new section of the Chinese menu. Bill decides to give this slice of Chinese American goodness a try, using our classic egg foo young recipe—and a surprise twist: GRAVY.
