On our most recent trip to Budapest, we set out to find the best food in Hungary, starting with the most traditional Hungarian foods we could find. Budapest is full of some incredibly delicious and flavourful food, extremely hearty, comforting and tasty, packed with the distinct flavour of paprika. There are so many incredible foods to eat in Budapest!
We tasted the famous langos, one of the most massive schnitzels we’ve ever had, as well as the spicy fisherman’s soup, gypsy steak, paprikas, strudels, Hungarian desserts, the famous turo rudi, and so much more. The street food in Hungary is amazing, and the Hungarian food found in the local restaurants is just as incredible.
