Returning Home with Mom_Watering Vegetables, Cooking & The Story of Asking to Adopt a Child

Yesterday, I brought my mother home to stay with me for a day. This morning, I took care of my vegetable garden and then cooked a meal for the two of us to eat together. Normally, when I am alone, I often just eat instant noodles because it is quick and convenient. But today, since my mother came to visit, I wanted to cook a proper meal so we could eat together and talk about many things.
During our conversation, my mother felt that I was already getting older but still had not gotten married, so she advised me to adopt a child to raise, so that when I grow old, I will have someone by my side and someone to rely on. She told me about a family who had three daughters, but the husband had left and married another woman. My mother suggested that I could go there to learn more about the situation and ask to adopt one of the children.
After lunch, my mother and I rested for a while. In the afternoon, we went together to the home of the three sisters to learn more about their situation and meet their family. When we arrived, only the three sisters were at home. Their mother was at work and would not return until the evening.
Because we could not meet the children's mother, my mother and I had to leave and return home. We planned to come back another time to meet and talk with their mother.
