Where to eat in Ljubljana ?? from cheap to expensive!

  • Where to eat in Ljubljana ?? from cheap to expensive!
Slovenian cuisine is all about hearty, comforting food, with influences from Austria, Italy, the Balkans and Central Europe. Ljubljana is a great place to try these traditional dishes, but you’ll also find plenty of modern restaurants putting their own twist on Slovenian food.
For a real Ljubljana food tour I would like to recommend @l@ljubljana They helped me as well and they really opened my eyes to the quality and richness of Slovenian cuisine!
    The places I went to:
? Klobasarna — Go for the classic kranjska klobasa, a traditional Slovenian sausage. Simple, filling and perfect for a quick lunch.
? Union Brewery — A great spot for traditional Slovenian food with a local beer. Try dishes like štruklji or jota if they’re on the menu.
?️ THE Restaurant — For something more special, this is a fine-dining option with modern Slovenian-inspired dishes. Perfect for a night when you want to treat yourself.
And there’s plenty more to try in Ljubljana:
? Burek - Flaky pastry with filling. Best place to try is Burek Olympija.
? Štruklji — rolled dumplings with different sweet or savoury fillings.
? Jota — a hearty stew made with beans, sauerkraut and potatoes.
? Potica — a traditional rolled cake, usually filled with walnuts.
? Prekmurska gibanica — a layered pastry with cottage cheese, poppy seeds, apples and walnuts.
Save this for your next trip to Ljubljana ??
