The view is town rooftops with a distant glimpse of coastline — a town view, not a full sea view — and in centre-facing rooms you do hear the street faintly, which lines up with the noise notes in reviews.
BATHROOM — Compact, modern, walk-in shower with glass partition, no bathtub. Bright mirror light, shower towels provided, small amenities on the sink — all clean and well maintained. Nothing luxurious, everything works.
POOLS — The seasonal outdoor pool is the hotel's open heart: a large rectangular pool, clear water, surrounded by lawn, rows of plastic loungers with metal frames, and a small playground on the far side. It's a classic family pool — not heated, not an infinity pool, but well kept with plenty of space and sun. No reserved Bali beds, just open grass.
FOOD — Both buffets happen in the same enormous, bright hall. Breakfast is long counters of hot trays, eggs, sausages, cold cuts, breadbaskets, salads and fruit; dinner repeats the formula with hot dishes, mixed salads, bread, and a dessert table of cakes and fruit. Trays are restocked even mid-service and choice is decent, but scale has a cost: at full occupancy the hall is loud and you queue — TripAdvisor and Kayak reviews flag exactly that. Taste-wise, guests are blunt and I agree: not gourmet, plentiful and simple.
FACILITIES — Beyond the pool, there is a small but real recreation area: a games room with two driving simulators and arcade cabinets along the wall — mostly for kids and teens. Reception is open, minimal, staff visible and friendly, which again mirrors the "everyone was friendly, hotel was spotless" sentiment.
