Hello my dear friends, ?
Welcome to another cozy autumn vlog from the Finnish countryside. ?
On a beautiful autumn day, Hannu, Hilma, Hilma’s little friend Pepe, and I went for a long walk together, enjoying the fresh air and the peaceful changing season.
Back home, I prepared a comforting lunch of roasted chicken drumsticks with vegetables, served with a fresh plum-and-herb salad.
The following morning began slowly with some baking. I made a moist Black Currant Lemon Cake and enjoyed a quiet coffee moment with Hannu and Hilma. ☕️?
With plenty of black currants from the season, I also spent some time preserving them, making homemade black currant jam and juice to keep a little taste of autumn for the colder months ahead.
Simple walks, homemade food, seasonal baking, and preserving… these are some of the little everyday moments that make autumn at home feel so special.
