This was such a different side of Egypt for me. Sakhra feels elegant, peaceful and exclusive, with beautiful modern design, spacious grounds, stylish restaurants, pools and a gorgeous private beach with white sand and crystal-clear turquoise water. The whole resort has a very relaxed luxury atmosphere — perfect if you’re looking for something quieter and more refined than the usual busy Egyptian resorts.
In this video, I’m taking you on a full tour of Sakhra Hotel & Spa and sharing our experience at this beautiful Mediterranean resort.
Another thing I loved about Marsa Matruh was the summer climate. We visited in August, with temperatures around 30–33°C during the day and 20–23°C at night, while the Mediterranean Sea was beautifully warm at around 28°C. It really felt like a little summer oasis in Egypt without the extreme heat.
