What this burger shop does is pretty different from most places. Instead of keeping the burgers thick, they press them down hard until they’re almost completely flat.
And there’s actually a reason for doing this. Once flattened, the burgers are stacked on top of each other, creating one massive tower.
It’s very different from a classic stacked burger, where usually only the patties are layered in the middle. But at this burger shop in Austria, they stack the entire burger, buns and all, until several burgers form one tall stack.
