Nick DiGiovanni's Smash Burger | Recipe Review

Hey guys, my name is Yeeda. Today on Recipe Review, we're making Nick DiGiovanni's smashburger. The concept basically revolves around molesting your ground beef into small spheres and aggressively smashing them into a hot stainless steel pan with a heavy pot. You cook the thin patties until they are nice and brown before layering them with slices of yellow American plastic and your own homemade seasoning. I ignored Nick's potato bun recommendation and used brioche instead, topping the double burger with purple onions and a special sauce recipe that I was too poor to buy his cookbook for, but thankfully found leaked in the comments. It's a pretty standard grease bomb, but honestly, it actually tastes really good. 7/10.
