INGREDIENTS
For patty:
500 gm Sweet Potato
2-3 Pinch Turmeric
Red Chilli Powder to Taste
1/4 Tsp Chaat Masala
2 Pinch Garam Masala
1/4 Tsp Pizza Mix
1/4 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1-2 Tbsp Sorghum Flour (Jowar Atta)
Salt
For patty coating:
Plain Cornflakes
1 Tbsp Sorghum Flour (Jowar Atta)
Salt
For Spread:
1/4 Cup Cashew nuts
3-4 Garlic Cloves
1/2 Lemon Juice
2 Pinch Crushed Black Pepper
Salt
To assemble:
Wheat burger buns
Tomato Slices
Onion Slices
Cheese Slice (Optional)
Lettuce
METHOD
- Mash boiled sweet potatoes and all the mentioned spices in ingredients, jowar aatta and salt. Mix well. Shape into large patties as per the buns.
- Make slurry of jowar atta, salt and water. Dip each patty first into the slurry and then coat with ground cornflakes or bread crumbs.
- Shallow fry on tawa or air fry till it becomes crispy.
- Blend together soaked cashew nuts, garlic, crushed pepper and salt to make a spread.
- Toast the buns. Apply cashew spread on both halves, place patty, tomatoes, lettuce and top half. ENJOY!
