I don’t have it in me today, so we’re cleaning out the freezer.
This easy baked ravioli is one of my favorite weeknight shortcuts. I keep frozen ravioli in the freezer, marinara sauce in the pantry, and cheese in the fridge. Toss it together, bake it, and dinner is done.
It’s cozy, cheesy, family-friendly, and tastes like a lot more work than it actually is.
RECIPE
Ingredients:
• 1 family-size package frozen cheese ravioli (about 19 ounces)
• 1 jar marinara sauce
• 2–3 tablespoons water
• 1 (8-ounce) bag shredded mozzarella cheese (about 2 cups)
• Grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
Directions:
1. Place the frozen ravioli in a baking dish.
2. Pour over the marinara sauce and add 2–3 tablespoons water.
3. Toss gently to coat.
4. Cover tightly with foil.
5. Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes.
6. Remove the foil and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
7. Return to the oven for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Serve and enjoy.
