  • Hello everyone! Asparagus lovers who enjoy preparing it themselves are surely curious about the different ways to cook it. Sometimes I get tired of the classic asparagus with hollandaise sauce. In this short video, I'll show you an asparagus dish with fish fillets. I use pike-perch fillets because they are boneless. Of course, you can also use other types of fish, especially if you can't find pike-perch in your area.
    Ingredients:
    For the pan-fried fish fillets:
    a pair of pike-perch fillets (or other freshwater fish)
    salt and pepper
    enough all-purpose flour
    5–7 tablespoons cooking oil
    2–3 sprigs of thyme
    For the pan-fried vegetables:
    500 g fresh white asparagus
    1–2 tablespoons pine nuts
    10–15 cherry tomatoes
    1–2 handfuls of arugula
    1 onion
    4 cloves of garlic
    3–4 tablespoons cooking oil
    1 tablespoon butter
    1/3 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
